For all the world Vahn appears little more than a wild and reckless young Miqo'te with small regard for his own wellbeing. There is seemingly no vice he won't indulge himself in, nor danger he won't hurtle headlong into if the need or whim arises, be it recreational substances, a tavern brawl, or intimate company. Despite his rough speech and perhaps overly thick accent his demeanour is all charm; he laughs easy, converses amiably, and grins often among even strangers.His affable, if abrasive manners might cause some to wonder if this is truly his nature, or just one layer of a carefully constructed persona. He certainly seems to be hiding something.

A Living Canvas

From the neck downwards Vahn is heavily tattooed with black inkwork resembling the irezumi one might encounter in the far east, though not exactly. A strange glyph-like symbol is also tattooed below his left eye, and in spite of all this ink, he bears none of the usual Miqo'te markings

Vahn speaks with a strong accent of dubious origin, not quite aligning with any particular Eorzean state. He also peppers curse words and outrageously crass language into his speech regardless of time or place, you have been warned

Bad Habits

Vahn is a chainsmoker and the stink of cigarettes clings to him constantly, despite his preference for colognes and scented soaps. Alcohol and blood are also common things anyone in his proximity can often catch a whiff of, if they're inclined to breathe his air

Often found manning the desk at a notorious fight club, Vahn also plies his trade as a blade for hire, a recreational punching bag, and a bed warmer. He's a pound of flesh willing to be paid for, and more concerned for the coin and the fun of the job, than for his own safety

The Obligatory Aether Vibe Check

For those sensitive to aether, Vahn is an enigma. He seems entirely incapable of using what is a freakishly dense amount of aether contained within his scrawny little body. There's a distinct umbral alignment to it, too, which makes this even more strange to those versed in such things. According to him he can't even traverse an aetheryte, though the truth of that is debatable
